Studio Notes

We’ve been playing and writing together now for eighteen months and it feels great to be at the point where we’re booking gigs and getting some live experience.

The recording process is a bit trickier. We’re fortunate to have some good recording equipment, but only having one session a week can slow down progress. We just need one cable to crap out on us and work is over for the night.

That said, the tracks are coming along. Currently, we’re looking for someone to master the ones we have so we can produce a proper release, but although there are plenty of talented people who could do this for us, finding the right person is trickier.

Different mixers have different tastes and approaches, and that doesn’t always chime with our own. It’s no slight on them, just that we have a sense of our own sound and we want to make sure we can capture that on record.

The search goes on. If you know anyone who might fit the bill, ping us a message.
