Written in the space of one evening with all the parts coming together almost as they were played, All the Love in the World is the sound of the band setting its stall out: a big noise and a bigger chorus.
“You are the horizon…”
This is an anti-war song, taking lyrical inspiration from stupid human carnage across centuries. The only just war is a class war.
“Every turn is a wrong turn…”
The first song we wrote together is a look at our experiences with anti-depressants. Sometimes the cure is worse than the disease.
“I know, I know how it works…”
By this point in the writing process the songs were coming thick and fast and it was wild to see where it took us from Colin’s opening riff. None of us predicted that ending!
